In contemporary China, this traditional notion has had a profound impact, with the obsession with marriage outpacing the focus on erotic. We rewritten the legend to portray Yue Lao as a third party who destroys marriages, but is a symbol of people's erotic. Mocking the bondage of relationships can lead to destructive erotic.
